Terry Bradshaw’s prediction on Big Ben came true partly

Being hotly discussed for a long time, the Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger finally faced the consequence of his absurd deeds. Just as former Steelers star quarterback Terry Bradshaw said previously, Roethlisberger was ruining his career. And the ruining begins with a six-game suspension. The next might be a trade.

According to NFL announcement on Wednesday, the leagued will suspend Roethlisberger for the first six games of the 2010 season after the two-time Super Bowl winner avoided sexual assault charges in Georgia. The reason for the suspension offered by the league is that the quarterback violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy. He was ordered to undergo a “comprehensive behavioral evaluation by professionals.” The suspension without pay will cost Roethlisberger an estimated $2.8 million of his $102 million total deal. What’s even worse, recently there have been more and more reports guessing that the Steelers are planning for trade to get rid of the seven-year Steeler.

Actually, the first trade prediction was given by four-time Super Bowl winner who used to wear No. 12 Bradshaw jersey with the Steelers from 1970 to 1983. Bradshaw publicly showed his disappointment with the embattled young quarterback who was originally taken as a successor to the last wearer of No. 12 Steelers jersey and told reporters ruthlessly that Roethlisberger has let the team and fans down and is ruining his apparently brilliant career. Bradshaw also said that the Steelers could possibly trade Roethlisberger away to avoid further troubles.
